Surah Ikhlaas means "Sincerity of Faith," also known as Tawhid or monotheism.

It is the 112th chapter of the Quran. It is a short declaration of tawhid, Allah's absolute Oneness, consisting of four verses.

This Surah seems to have been alluded to by the Prophet's ﷺ compaion  Bilal of Abyssinia, who, when he was being tortured by his cruel master for accepting Islam, is said to have repeated "Ahad, Ahad!", or "The One, The One,' as is mentioned in Surah Ikhlaas.

This powerful Surah was mentioned by the Prophet ﷺ when he said, "By Him in Whose Hand my life is, it is equal to one-third of the Quran."

Surah Ikhlaas translates as:

1. Say, "He is Allah, the One

2. Allah, the Eternal Refuge.

3. He neither has children nor is He born,

4. Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
