Surah Fatir (The Originator) | Chapter 35 (11-27)

This Qur’an folio is hand-written by a Qur’an scribe. It was written in the Muslim calendar year of 1245 Hijri, approximately, making it around 190 years old.
The page is made out of papyrus and the Arabic is written with black ink and the ends of the ayahs are illumined with real gold gild. There is a red and gold coloured border, with subtle red letter highlights.
The size of the Qur’an page is around 11cm x 16.5cm, approx, and has Qur’an verses written on both sides. The other side of the page is blurred in a few places.
This page has verses of Surah Fatir, Chapter 35 (11-27). The verses discuss:
- Creation of the human being: And Allāh created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates.
- Allah's Power: He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night
- The Prophet's (s) role: You, [O Muḥammad], are not but a warner.
- Allah's Rizq: Do you not see that Allāh sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors?
