Ka’bah Kiswahs from Hajj 2026

We have pieces of the Blessed Kiswah, the black covering which adorned the Holy Ka’bah in Makkah.

We have acquired pieces of the Kiswah from this year’s Hajj 2026, 1447 AH, alhamdulillah. They measure around 12cm x 12cm and are presented in a black frame.

The Kiswah at the Holy Ka’bah was replaced on Monday 15th June 2026 in time for the beginning of the Islamic new year, 1st Muharram, 1448 AH, Tuesday 16th June.

What is the Kiswah?

The Kiswah is black covering of the Ka’bah, it is a powerful symbol of the honour, sanctity, and spiritual significance of the House of Allah.

Meticulously woven and adorned with beautifully embroidered Qur’anic verses in elegant Thuluth script, it represents centuries of Islamic craftsmanship, devotion, and reverence for the Kaʿbah.

For Muslims around the world and especially those who performed the Hajj or Umrah, the Kiswah serves as a cherished reminder of the sacred sanctuary of Makkah and the deep spiritual connection believers have with the House of Allah.

Previous Years

In addition to the Ka’bah Kiswah pieces from this year, we also have a few Kiswah pieces from previous years (2024/1445AH and 2025/1446AH).

Please Note: The frames and mount are exactly the same, however the
designs of the Kiswah pieces may vary as they form part of a larger piece.

Kiswah Factory in Makkah

These Kiswahs are acquired from workers and cleaners at the Kiswah
Factory and the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The sale of these items
supports them and supplements their income.

There are only a limited number of pieces available for purchase.
